Ukraine started negotiations on currency swaps.
The Ukrainian government is in talks with a number of countries for our country currency swaps (mutual exchange) to strengthen reserves.

Earlier, the Ministry of Finance has already informed about the negotiations on a currency swap with China.
The IMF approved an expanded program of lending EFF for Ukraine, totaling $ 17.5 billion for the period of 4 years.
The first tranche of the new program of $ 5 billion Ukraine received March 13 – the money was distributed equally between the Ministry of Finance and National Bank. The second and all subsequent tranches of the IMF can be obtained on the basis of quarterly assessment missions fund, the first of which is expected on 15 June.
Under the new program in 2015 Ukraine may receive from external sources about $ 16.3 billion, including $ 10 billion to the IMF. Among the international aid funds from the EU for $ 1.8 billion from the US government and $ 2 billion.
One of the main criteria for the implementation of a new IMF program is to achieve financial stability which should contribute to an increase in foreign exchange reserves.
The program provides for an increase in foreign exchange reserves of Ukraine until the end of 2015 to $ 17 billion.
