Ukrainian companies can export to the United States of America duty-free goods worth about $ 200 million a year in connection with the updating of the program the US Generalized System of Preferences. This forecast was voiced by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius.
The Minister noted that Ukraine is not involved in this program since 2013, but last year the participation of Ukrainian companies have put items on the program in the amount of $ 111 million, and according to estimates of the American side Ukraine used its capacity by only 65%.
As reported, from 29 July to 31 December 2017 will act updated program the US Generalized System of Preferences, which allows duty-free to the United States to supply about 5 thousand positions of the goods.
