Ukrainian dairy products may appear on the EU market before the end of the year.
Now ten companies are in the final stage of harmonization of all the nuances of their output to the European market.
Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food expects that the Ukrainian companies will enter the market with the EU milk production until the end of the year. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy Aleksey Pavlenko during the Ukrainian-German Economic Forum.
“This year we plan to open the European market for dairy products. Now ten companies are in the final stage of coordination”, – he said.
The Minister added that the EU is one of the key trade partners of Ukraine and the Ministry of Agrarian Policy will work on further expansion of quotas on the supply of domestic products in Europe.
Recall Ukraine asks EU to increase the export quota and provide more opportunities for imports of agricultural products from the country. However, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy recommends that manufacturers adapt agricultural production in accordance with the export quotas opened by the European Union, which will increase the supply of Ukrainian products in the country.
In particular, farmers are not fully used this year’s quota for exports to the EU lamb, sugar syrup, straw, wheat gluten, starch, mushrooms, sweet corn, garlic and other products.
