US launches new program to support agribusiness in Ukraine.

The US government will launch a new project in Ukraine to support agriculture to replace terminated in 2016 a five-year program of the US Agency for International Development (USAID) «Agroinvest”. The journalists said the director of USAID Mission to Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus Jed Barton.
Barton said that the US government will continue to support small and medium-sized agricultural producers in Ukraine, particularly in the area of access to credit. In addition, the focus of the work will also be the problem of irrigation and land reform.
He emphasized that a key objective of land reform is not only to give everyone the opportunity to implement the tenure areas, but also the protection of these rights.
