The World Bank approved the decision of the Cabinet of Ministry of Ukraine on the introduction of a single market in gas prices.
The World Bank intends to provide Ukraine $500 million for the purchase of gas. This was stated by the Vice-President of the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia Syril Muller at a meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.
It is reported that Mueller endorsed the decision of the Cabinet on the introduction of a single market in gas prices.
“This is an important signal that helps us to complete the final steps for the project, which provides $ 500 million in guarantees on purchase of gas”, – he said.
