FTA with Canada could cause an explosion of investment in Ukraine.
The FTA between Ukraine and Canada will influence the Ukrainian GDP, taxes, the employment situation.
This was stated by Chairman of the Canadian Project Canada-Ukraine Trade and Investment Support project Paul Darby.
“We conducted in-depth analysis on the impact of this Agreement on Ukrainian economy, which showed that the trade agreement will influence the Ukrainian GDP, taxes, the employment situation. But in spite of such agreements between Canada and other countries, we see that it’s always a blast investments. And after these investments jumped up, and they remain at this level. We hope that the same will burst investments in Ukraine”, – said Derby.
He added that the ratification of the FTA Ukraine and Canada are on the agenda of the Canadian Parliament in this session that will last until April-May 2017.
“We hope to see the agreement ratified by Christmas” – summed up Derby.
