Ukraine plans to increase nuclear power production next year.
Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine has developed a draft forecast balance of electricity in 2017, which laid increase the share of nuclear power. This was during a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine informed the Director of Electricity Olga Buslavets.
According to her, the document increased share of nuclear power generation, which has a positive effect on the formation of wholesale electricity prices.
The balance sheet also reflected the projected consumption, the possibility of generations and economic development.
O.Buslavets assured that the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, for its part does everything necessary to forecast the balance primarily took into account the interests of consumers and the possibility to reduce tariffs.
Recall, as reported earlier, nuclear power can solve the problem of increased cost of electricity.
However, according to experts, increasing the volume of production of uranium concentrate Ukraine will save significant costs.
Also recall Ukraine has at least 12 investment promising uranium deposits.
According H.Kopchynskoho without investors Ukraine will not be able to increase production of uranium.
Previously, the intention to involve private investors in the uranium mining industry said Minister Igor Nasalyk.
