According to a study by the American Chamber of Commerce, a business considers the most promising in terms of growth in 2016 the agricultural sector, the sphere of information technologies and mass market. This is stated in the annual publication of the American Chamber of Commerce “Ukraine: Economic Review 2016”.
“Most (64%) identified agriculture as an area having the highest potential for improvement in this year. At the same time, the business believes that this sector requires the development of alternative financial support instruments for small and medium-sized farmers, further deregulation (to simplify the process of obtaining permits ) and the market introduction of agricultural land”, – stated in the publication.
Promising business sectors also took the sphere of information technologies, the market of consumer goods, banking and financial services.
From a business point of view, are the most essential changes in tax policy (73%), customs regulation (64%), legal policy (62%), healthcare (61%), investment policy (53%).

The main problem of business calls corruption in the country (75%). Among other problems were identified imperfect legal system (16%) and bureaucracy (9%). By solving the problems of the last members of the American Chamber of Commerce consider simplification of the system of communication between business and government through the introduction of electronic services at all stages of the information exchange (automation of registry, the centralization of information, open access).

The survey involved 166 respondents, members of the American Chamber of Commerce.
