The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is preparing plan to sell of state land.
The Action Plan of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for 2016 provides for the creation of preconditions for opening a full-fledged land market after the expiration of the moratorium on sale of agricultural land.
Thus, according to the plan, the first phase (1 January 2017) provides for the sale of agricultural land state property, in the second stage (from 1 January 2019) – opening for the sale of land by citizens.
Adding to the Verkhovna Rada of the draft law on turnover of agricultural land is expected in March.
The moratorium on the sale or alienation of agricultural land in Ukraine in December 2015, was extended until January 1, 2017.
The document stipulates that until the entry into force of the law on turnover of agricultural land, but not earlier than 1 January 2017, are not allowed to purchase and sale of agricultural land state and communal property.
