Chernigov region took the second place in Ukraine on the industry performance in the first half of 2016.
According to the Chernihiv region received the index of industrial production 112% in January-June this year. Given that the average for Ukraine – 102%. Therefore, in the I half Chernihiv consistently held the 2nd place among the other regions of the country to develop the industrial sector.
In the processing industry in the overall growth of the index by 22.1% to almost all industries showed a positive result.
The largest increase (+ 47.5%) was observed in mechanical engineering. At 30.9% exceeded last year’s volumes at food production plants, beverages and tobacco products. In light industry – an increase of 31.7%, metallurgical production, manufacturing of fabricated metal products – by 36.8%, manufacture of chemicals and chemical products – by 10.2%.
The activities for the supply of electricity, gas and conditioned air in production volumes grew by 13.1%.
At the same time, 18% decreased production in the mining industry.
According to the results of January-May sales volume of industrial production amounted to 7.7 billion hryvnia.
