Economic indicators in Ukraine continue to improve .
The most important spheres of the Ukrainian economy in June 2015 continued slowdown in the fall. A similar situation was observed in May.
The State Statistics Committee reported today, in June, industrial production increased compared with May by 1.5%, while compared to June last year, the decline has slowed down to 18.1% (in May, the corresponding figure stood at minus 20.7%).
As a consequence, the fall in industrial production on the rise in January-June of this year, slowed to 20.5% compared to 21.2% in January-May.
Also today, the statistical agency reported that the index of construction production in Ukraine in January-June decreased the rate of decline to 28.3% compared with 31.2% in the first five months.
In agriculture, in June of this year, there has been acceleration in the decline in production. Productivity is now, even more than last year’s record values, so in July and August should expect a significant improvement in performance in this sphere of the Ukrainian economy.
Furthermore, according to the State Statistics Committee on July 15, it was recorded in May, the biggest foreign trade surplus this year. And just in the first five months of positive balance of foreign trade reached 909.2 million dollars.
