European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has established a fund to support reforms in Ukraine.
The Bank has established a fund whose purpose will be to support reforms in Ukraine measures to improve the business climate in the country and to ensure stable growth of the Ukrainian economy.
Donor countries of the new fund will be Finland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA, Denmark, Japan and Norway. The total amount of their contributions will be 11 million euros.
In particular the EBRD funds new fund will focus on the fight against corruption, the development of the banking sector, energy security, improve the competitiveness of the Ukrainian economics as well as the modernization of municipal infrastructure.
