Experts predict an economic recovery in Ukraine in 2016.
There are obvious signs of stabilization.
Ukraine’s economy is showing signs of stabilization and recovery can begin as early as next year, subject to continued structural reforms. This was stated by the Head of the World Bank in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova Qimiao Fan.
“We are seeing early signs of stabilization. The fiscal deficit was able to cut, we see a stabilization of the banking sector, the outflow of capital was able to stop. We are seeing stabilization of the exchange rate. Provisions rose – with the help of international organizations. That is, there are signs of stabilization,” – said Fan.
“However, it is important that the country has retained them. It depends on the policy of the authorities. The situation is very fragile. If we want growth next year, it is necessary to continue the reform of the banking sector, the energy sector, to carry out judicial reform, improving the business environment. It is structural reforms which is infinitely important for Ukraine. But I’m optimistic that the economy really starts recovery next year, “- said the expert.
