In January-April 2016 Ukraine sent on grain exports worth $ 1.9 billion, representing 104.5% of the same period of 2015.
This was announced by the State Statistics Committee.
Imported grain in Ukraine in the first four months of this year amounting to $ 110.9 million, or 88% of that of January-April 2015.
According to statistics, in January-April last year, grain exports totaled $ 1.85 billion, up 20% from the same period of 2014.
Cereal imports in the first four months of 2015, according to the State Statistics Service, amounted to $ 126 million, or 40.5% for the same period last year.
