Foreigners interested in about 25 state-owned enterprises to be privatized.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine proposes to divide all going to privatize the company into three groups, highlighting in particular about the top 25, which may cause the transnational companies and other large foreign investors.
“We propose to divide all into three parts: the big companies with potential interest of major foreign investors – about 25 companies, and focus on them: port infrastructure, energy sector, chemistry and so on”, – said the Minister.
He said that in the second group will include the remaining major Ukrainian enterprises in which foreign investors are missing.
“All the rest – mass privatization (about 1700 objects) – transparently sell with the State Property Fund set up an Internet portal for small and medium Ukrainian business”, – said Abromavicius.
The Minister stressed that the resumption of large-scale privatization is a priority in 2016.
Minister of Finance Nataliya Yaresko added that privatization is one of the structural lighthouses extended financing program the EFF, open the International Monetary Fund Ukraine.
