France can place in Ukraine export capacity
French investors are most interested in investing in Ukraine in agribusiness, infrastructure, transport, energy, IT and innovation.
This at a press conference following the Franco-Ukrainian business forum said Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolskaya.
“First of all, the French side said that their side has a big interest in agriculture and agribusiness, infrastructure and transport, industry and energy sectors, where most of the French side of the uniquely interested in the privatization issues, IT and innovation,” – said the Minister.
According to a sales representative of Ukraine, potential French investors also have an interest in a variety of objects, which are now declared for privatization.
Mykolskaya also said that Ukraine could be the site for the location of production capacities of French companies, not only for the Ukrainian market, but also for export.
“In spite of our agreement on the FTA, all competitive advantages, which are in Ukraine, we can be a place for the location of production facilities of French companies, not only for the Ukrainian market, but also for export. Here, an important point is also the Ukrainian agreement concluded with Canada” – said Mykolskaya.
According to the sales representative in Ukraine, we are talking about the fact that multinational foreign companies will be able to place on the territory of Ukraine production, assembly or processing capacity for its products.
