The largest project in the European economic area over the next 10 years will be Germany and EU cooperation with Ukraine.
Germany believes that economic cooperation with Ukraine is to become the largest European project for the next 10 years. The Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany Gerd Muller at a meeting with Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groisman during which the sides discussed cooperation in the economic sphere.
“The largest European project in the economic field the next 10 years should be the cooperation of Germany and the EU in Ukraine. We fully agree and pidpysuyemosya under your government program. We believe this approach because your government sends to Europe right signals”, – said Muller.
As noted, Groisman said that in Ukraine there are 4.5 thousand enterprises with German capital. In addition, Ukraine implemented projects of German technical aid in the amount of 600 mln.euro.
The parties also agreed to speed up work on projects of German business in Ukraine.
Groisman and Mueller also discussed cooperation between the two countries and at the local level, the implementation of energy efficiency projects in Ukraine, including the creation and the beginning of the Fund’s efficiency and attracting the support of Germany to reform the Customs Service of Ukraine.
