Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has kept forecast industrial production growth in 2016 at 1.2%. The corresponding forecast contained in the analytical material published on the site.
 “Following the results of 2016 we leave our forecast unchanged and we expect industrial production growth at 1.2%”, – stated in the analytical material. In the Minister noted that the effect of factors such as internal investment demand offset the effect of constraining factors. But a crucial role in the growth of industrial production will play price dynamics in global commodity markets (steel, iron ore and fertilizers) and the state of transport in the east. As previously reported, growth in industrial production in Ukraine in September 2016 in annual terms compared to September 2015 slowed to 2% from 3.4% a month earlier. Since the beginning of the year, in January-September compared to the same period last year, industrial production in Ukraine grew by 2%.
