Odessa Port increased its container handling by 25.7%.

According to the data service of Economy and Finance of the Odessa Port Authority, the volume of container handling in the port berths in May 2016 amounted to 38 792 TEU, a 9611 TEU, or 32.9% more than in May last year. in the first five months of this year total growth of container handling in the port, compared with January-May 2015 is 25.7%: 193 452 TEU against 153,841 TEU.
Recall, container ships in the port of Odessa are now handled at the two terminals – at the Quarantine Mole in Grain harbor. Operate terminals respectively stevedoring company “HPC Ukraina” and LLC “Brooklyn-Kiev Port”.
