Rivne region will receive from the European Investment Bank in energy saving measures 5.5 m EUR.
Rivne region expects to receive from the European Investment Bank to increase energy efficiency of municipal institutions and establishments loan of 5.5 million euros.
Permission to participate in a joint project with the EIB “municipal infrastructure development program Ukraine”, the total value of 400 mln. euros, got the executive committee of Rivne City Council.
It is assumed that money will be spent on energy efficiency measures in general, sports, music schools, hospitals and kindergartens regional center. According to preliminary calculations, the average payback period of energy-saving measures that can be implemented in 30-40 public facilities is 4-12 years.
The project will reduce costs from the city budget to pay for energy budget institutions, reduce the consumption of natural gas and electricity, maintain communal property and create comfortable conditions for the stay of residents in communal establishments.
