This is stated in the message of the National Bank.
As of July 1, 2016 of 102 workers (licensed) banks in Ukraine 39 financial institutions – with foreign capital (as of January 1 – 41 banks with foreign capital of 117 employees), including 16 – with 100% foreign capital (in January, 1 – 17).
The aggregate registered charter capital of Ukrainian banks as of July 1 totaled UAH 257.051 billion (as of January 1 – UAH 206.387 billion).
Net assets of Ukrainian banks as of July 1 totaled UAH 1.260.617 billion (as of 1 January – UAH 1.254.385 billion), total assets (not adjusted for reserves for active operations) – UAH 1.572.028 billion (as of January 1, 2016 – UAH 1 571 411 billion) .
During 2015 the share of foreign capital in the banking system increased from 32.5% to 43.3%.
