State Fiscal Service has issued about 1000 certificates of Ukrainian exporters in the EU in 2016.
During the first week of action a free trade zone with the European Union Ukrainian Customs have issued about 1 thousand. Certificates EUR.1 for duty-free export of Ukrainian goods to the European Union
From 1 January 2016 customs officers have given a thousand forms of EUR.1 certificates to confirm the status of preferential origin. This certification confirms the duty-free exports to the European Union. It is reported by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.
Most certificates for goods received in the UK – and Austria 451 – 280 (mainly apple concentrate); Poland – 62 (clear glass), to Germany – and Spain 57 – 42 (mostly medical) in France- 35 (mainly seeds and honey).
The service reminded that under the new rules, the certificate is issued free of charge and as soon as possible, but with the increased responsibility of the exporter for the accuracy of the information provided.
The certificate filled in for each consignment of goods in the event that it is necessary to present as evidence that the goods comply with the preferential status.
Recall from January 1, 2016 came into force an agreement on free trade area (FTA) with the EU. Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reported that the FTA eliminates tariffs on 97% of Ukrainian goods and reduces the average tariff on Ukrainian exports from 7.6% to 0.5%.
