For ten months of 2015/16 MG Ukraine produced 4.4 million tons of vegetable oil.
In the first ten months (September-June) 2015/2016 marketing year Ukraine produced 4.384 million tons of oil, including 4.148 million tons of sunflower.
According to the report, 479 thousand tons of total vegetable oil production volume is directed to domestic food consumption.
Meanwhile, in September-June 2015/2016 MG Ukraine exported 4.154 million tons of vegetable oil which is more than 90% of total production. It is noted that more than half of Ukrainian oilseed exports are India, China, the EU countries.
At the same time for the first ten months of the current MG 174 thous. tons of oil were imported to Ukraine.
According to forecasts, in general, for the 2015/2016 marketing year the volume of oil production in Ukraine totaled 4.75 million tons, of which sunflower oil will be 4.5 million tons.
Thus, on domestic food consumption by the end of 2015/2016 MG 570 thous.tons of vegetable oil will be sent, and 4.35 million tons will be exported.
In addition, the volume of imported oil to Ukraine is estimated at 200 thousand tons.
