The agreement on free trade zone between Ukraine and the European Union came into force on 1 January 2016 and “should not change.” This is stated in the reply of the European External Action Service.

Prior to this, experts representing the parties, hold technical meetings with a view to finding practical solutions to eliminate the fear of Moscow due to the implementation of the agreement between the EU and Ukraine, said in response.

“Although progress has been made, the report still contains conflicting positions on most issues”, – stressed in the European External Action Service.
