The Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatseniuk expects growth of the Ukrainian economy in 2016 at 2%.

“In 2016, the growth of the Ukrainian economy will be 2%. And we must understand that our economy is very dependent on the world, and vice versa,” – he said.
The Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the basis of work in Kiev, October 3 predicted a fall in GDP of Ukraine to 11 percent. “Despite this positive development, due to greater-than-expected economic decline in the first half, the mission has revised growth forecasts (for Ukraine) in 2015, (drop them) to minus 11 per cent. At the same time the IMF expects that in the coming year Ukraine’s economic growth will resume and “reach 2%,” – said in a statement the IMF.
Meanwhile, the World Bank (WB) has on September 22 unveiled its own assessment of the economic situation in Ukraine, indicating that the country is waiting for this year’s decline to minus 12%. In April this year, the World Bank gave a more benign outlook – minus 7.5%, and in January – even minus 2.3%.
