The Board of Directors of the International Monetary Fund on July 31 completed the first review of Ukraine’s implementation of the economic program supported by a loan extended financing (Extended Fund Facility Arrangement, EFF), and approved the second tranche of the loan in the amount of 1 182.1 million SDR ($ 1,7 billion).

This is stated in the message Fund.

As a result of allocation of the second tranche of the total amount granted under the EFF of 4.72 billion SDR (about $ 6.68 billion).

EFF program, totaling 12.348 billion SDR (about $ 17.5 billion) was approved March 11, 2015 to support economic stabilization in Ukraine and defines the broad and deep economic reforms aimed at restoring sustainable growth in the medium term and improving the living standards of its citizens.

In general, approved in March this year a four-year Extended Fund Facility EFF program, totaling $ 17.5 billion involves the allocation of IMF Ukraine in 2015 four tranches. The first tranche in the amount of $ 5 billion has already been allocated. The size of the remaining amount of $ 1.7 billion.

In the next three years is planned to allocate four tranches each year, the size of each – $ 620-630 million.
