The President of Ukraine signed a law №191-VIII «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on simplification of business conditions».
The main purpose of this law is the deregulation of economic activity, bringing the legislation in some areas, in accordance with the EU legal field that allows you to improve Ukraine’s position in the ranking of Doing Business.
The Act provides for the registration of business for two days, as well as eliminates the licensing centers and transmit them to functions of the center of administrative services.
According to the Ministry of Economic Development, such measures will enable businesses to save about 100 million USD for the preparation of documents and 150-250 million UAH for unofficial payments.
In addition, the law regulated rent of land in the agricultural sector, since under the new rules the tenant is not at risk of losing land compulsorily.
A draft of this law was drafted by the Ministry of Economic Development on the implementation of the Program of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine problems – deregulation, reducing the number of points of contact between business and the state, as well as to bring the legislation into conformity with the standards of the European Union and Association Agreement with the EU.
The law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on February 12.
