The share of foreign capital in the banking system increased from 53.3% to 56% in September.
This is stated in the message National Bank.
As of October 1, 2016 of 100 workers (licensed) banks in Ukraine 40 financial institutions – with foreign capital (as of January 1 – 41 banks with foreign capital of 117 employees), including 17 – with 100 percent foreign capital (January 1 – 17).
The aggregate registered charter capital of Ukrainian banks as of October 1 amounted to 264.343 billion hryvnia (January 1 – 206 387 000 000 hryvnia).
Net assets of Ukrainian banks as of October 1 amounted to 1 275 943 000 000 hryvnia (January 1 – 1 254 385 000 000 hryvnia), the total assets (not adjusted for reserves for active operations) – 1 603 644 000 000 hryvnia (January 1, 2016 – 1 571 411 000 000 hryvnia) .
These are exclusive of insolvent banks.
During 2015 the share of foreign capital in the banking system increased from 32.5% to 43.3%.
