Additional import charge is levied on goods imported into the customs territory of Ukraine under the customs regime of import (ie for free circulation in the customs territory of Ukraine), regardless of their country of origin.
The law establishes a rate of 10% for goods classified in product groups 1-24 of the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activities, 5% – for goods classified in commodity groups of 25-97 Ukrainian goods classification of foreign economic activity.
In addition, the 10% set for the goods subject to import duty tax in accordance with Article 374 of the Customs Code.
