Ukraine and Italy have agreed to cooperate in the agricultural sector.

Ukraine and Italy signed a roadmap of cooperation between the two countries for 2016-2017, a memorandum on cooperation in the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses and a memorandum on cooperation in the field of agriculture.
The signing ceremony took place in Kiev after the VIII meeting of the Ukrainian-Italian Council on Economic, Industrial and Financial Cooperation.
In particular, the road map of cooperation between Ukraine and Italy, and a memorandum on cooperation in the field of small and medium businesses was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni.
The signers of the memorandum on cooperation in the field of agriculture have become Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko and Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni.
As stated during the press conference, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, signed documents cover the most important spheres of Ukraine.
“In the future we will move as the cooperation with the involvement of the regions of Ukraine and Italy. And evidence of how we worked today in preparation of the Commission are also to sign a document that actually cover the areas that are most important to us – it is the small and medium-sized enterprises it – agro-industrial complex, “- Klimkin said.
