Ukraine completed its accession to the Government of WTO procurement agreement.
Since May, Ukrainian companies have the right to participate in public procurement 45 countries participating in World Trade Organization agreements on public procurement.
Ukrainian companies since May will participate in the public procurement of 45 countries participating in the WTO Agreement on Public Procurement (Agreement on Government Procurement, GPA), including the EU, Japan, US, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Canada.

“This – the simplest way for the export of domestic goods. Ukrainian companies will not need to spend extra money on marketing to negotiate access to the network, open a representative office. The applications and procedures for public tendering is generally well structured. Therefore, all you need – is to find an interesting tender and properly place an order, “- said Deputy Minister of Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine.
In November 2015 delegations from all 45 participating countries GPA unanimously supported the decision on Ukraine’s accession to the agreement, and the Verkhovna Rada ratified the decision in March 2016. Since January, the Ministry started a pilot project to support Ukrainian companies, which for the first time planning to participate in international tenders.
The total market of the WTO government procurement is estimated at $ 1.7 trillion annually, which is more than 30 times the volume of Ukrainian exports in 2014.
