In comparison with the first 9 months of 2015 the export of domestic agricultural products in the EU has decreased – by 3.6% in volume and 1% – in money.
Exports of cereals in the EU since the beginning of 2016 amounted to 4 460 thousand. Tonnes to 4 671.2 thousand. Tons a year earlier. In terms of value for the first 9 months of 2016 the EU imported grain by $ 678.4 million, or $ 45.9 million less than the same period last year.
Exports of oilseeds in real terms fell by 16% – up to 940 thousand tons, and in value -. 16.7%.
The EU has increased imports of vegetable oils in Ukraine for 9 months of 2016 to 1.1 million tons, which accounted for $ 855 million versus last year’s $ 392.5 million in value terms.
Increasing exports to the EU is not only oil, but also other products, due to which Ukraine can be further significantly increase its foreign exchange earnings.
