Ukraine exports of agricultural products to Asia.
According to the former Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksiy Pavlenko, Asian countries occupy a significant position in the regional structure of Ukrainian exports of agricultural products – more than 45%, almost $ 5 billion.
“Today, our country continues to occupy a leading position among the world’s leading supplier of agricultural products. And most importantly – we will surely continue to win markets, which until recently were considered hard to reach for us », – said Oleksiy Pavlenko.
According to him, in the region there are large public and private equity firms that are interested in setting up joint ventures in the field of agriculture.
“Over a year ago I said that the diversification of markets is the key to the stability and development of domestic agriculture. Then, at the end of 2015, beginning of 2016 the geographical diversification of agricultural exports, a reorientation to new markets, modernization of production – was not just a forced necessity, as the only possible condition for the development of agriculture “, – said Oleksiy Pavlenko.
