Ukraine has to perform the 6 steps for a visa-free regime with EU.
The first step – to ensure the security of documents: to improve the verification procedure in the issuance of passports to optimize the existing database and create a single system for collecting statistical information, to establish a system of information exchange with Interpol regarding the lost or stolen passports.
The second step – Verkhovna Rada should amend the law on refugees and to increase up to six months the documents for the right to stay in Ukraine of persons who applied for international protection.
The third step – combating discrimination: it is necessary to amend the Labour Code that will ensure the equality of rights of all vulnerable groups.
The fourth step – the fight against drug trafficking, organized crime and terrorism.
The fifth step – the fight against corruption: create transparent bodies to combat corruption (National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the National Agency for combating corruption) and to demonstrate their effectiveness.
And the last, the sixth step – Human rights: to ensure the protection and realization of the rights of internally displaced persons and to ensure the protection of personal data.
