Ukraine in September increased its international reserves.
International reserves of Ukraine October 1, amounted to $ 12 billion 774 million, in September there was a growth of $ 157 million, according to the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine.
In NBU note that the increase in reserves was primarily due to revenues from international and bilateral partners of Ukraine in favor of the government, as well as swap transactions with the central banks of other countries.
In September, the government received $ 522 million, of which $ 498.7 million from IBRD and $ 23.9 million (equivalent) from the Government of Norway. In turn, revenues from swap operations with the Central bank of Sweden amounted to $ 500 million. In addition, the accumulation of international reserves contributed to the NBU interventions on the interbank foreign exchange market.
During the month, the net purchase of foreign exchange control was $ 152.3 million.
In particular, during the currency auctions, the central bank held from 17 September 2015, was purchased $ 143.7 million.
“Now Ukraine’s international reserves sufficient to meet the obligations and ongoing operations of the government and the National Bank”, – the report says.
