Ukraine is leading in sales of sunflower oil.
This year the sunflower oil will be produced a 5% increase.
The volume of sunflower oil production in Ukraine in 2015/16 marketing year will be 4.5 million tonnes which is 5% more than expected in the 2014/15 season.
The increase in oil production will be driven by an increase in the harvest of sunflower to 10.8 million tonnes (+ 6% from the 2014/15 marketing year) and thus increasing the volume of oil processing up to 10.5 million tonnes (+ 5%) due to further increase the capacity of enterprises maslodobyvayuschih .
Given the relatively stable domestic consumption of sunflower oil in the country, most of the production is supplied to foreign markets.
