Ukraine has lowered interest rates when lending eco-business projects.
UkrGasBank has lowered interest rates when lending to environmental projects for SMEs from 24% to 20.5% in local currency, with 10% and 7.7% in US dollars and 9% to 6.7% in euros.
Entrepreneurs can get “green financing” for energy efficiency improvements and energy saving, reducing consumption of natural energy resources, renewable energy – wind farms, solar farms, hydroelectric power stations – within the agreement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).
Eco-loans will be issued to purchase a new energy efficient or environmental equipment, and the replacement or modernization of existing.
