Ukraine produces 1.2% of the world’s poultry.

According to official data for 9 months of 2015 produced 523 thousand tonnes of chilled poultry meat and 126 thousand tonnes of frozen poultry meat, this is almost 11% more than the same period last year. According to the USDA it is expected that over the 2015/2016 marketing year Ukraine will produce 980 thousand tonnes of poultry meat (broiler). Thus, Ukraine will take a share in the world production of about 1.2%. For the 2013/2014 marketing year, Ukraine exported 141 thousand tonnes of poultry meat in the 2014/2015 year, it is expected that Ukraine will export 167 thousand tonnes, and in 2015/2016 it can grow up to 170 thousand tonnes. The share of Ukrainian poultry exporter in the world already holds 1.5%.
