Ukraine has risen to 59 th to 60 th place in the annual ranking of global competitiveness (IMD World Competitiveness Yearbook 2016).

Rating Management Institute (IMD, Switzerland) made on the basis of the assessment of the state of the economy, the efficiency of public authorities, the business environment and the state of infrastructure.
The effectiveness of the Ukrainian government and the state of the infrastructure is better than the rating of the country as a whole. According to these indicators, Ukraine ranks 57 th and 50 th place in the world, respectively.
