Ukraine’s GDP will grow – Fitch Ratings.

Posted in News.

Already in the next year’s GDP could grow by 3%.
International rating agency Fitch Ratings predicts Ukraine’s GDP growth by 1% in 2016, and in 2017 – by 2-3%, according to the agency’s press service.
Regarding the dynamics of prices, Fitch believes that the purpose of the NBU on inflation at 12% in 2016 is achievable, if we can avoid further instability in the exchange rate.
With regard to the dynamics of public debt of Ukraine, the agency expects that the rate will be reduced from next year, but there is uncertainty about the possibility of a country to achieve GDP growth in combination with a primary budget surplus, which would reduce the ratio of debt to GDP (including debt and state guarantees debt) to 71% of GDP by 2020.
Earlier, it was reported that Fitch upgraded the rating of Ukraine in foreign currency.
