Ukrainian agrarians products exported nearly $ 8 billion.
Exports of food products from Ukraine in January-July 2016 increased compared to the same period in 2015 by 2.6% – to $ 7.8 billion and imports at the same time increased by 10% – to $ 2.2 billion.
The share of agricultural products in total exports increased during the period to 40.1% from 35.2%, and imports – up 10.8% from 9.5%.
Most observed increase in deliveries to Ukrainian products by Category “fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin” – by 38%, mainly due to increased purchases of palm oil (63% in value terms). The same category of products provided, and the growth of exports of agricultural products from Ukraine.
Supplies of sunflower oil increased in January-June by 23%.
Recall, the export of agricultural products from Ukraine totaled 14.6 billion dollars in 2015 and exceeded imports by a record for the country since independence to 11.1 billion dollars.
