Ukrainian farmers exported 2.7 million tons of grain.
Ukrainian farmers from the beginning of 2016-2017 marketing year (July 2016 – June 2017) exported 2.7 million tonnes of grain- according to the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In particular, the wheat were exported 945 thousand tons, corn – 438 thousand tons, barley-1.3 million tons.
In addition, the external markets delivered 10 thousand tonnes of wheat flour.
In 2015-2016 MG Ukraine exported a record amount of grain – 39.4 million tons, breaking the record of 2014-2015 in the amount of MG 34.8 million tons.
According to forecasts of Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the gross yield of grain and leguminous crops in this year will amount to 61 million tons.
In the past year, according to the State Statistics Service, Ukraine collected 60.1 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 5.8% less than the record high in 2014 – 63.8 million tons.
